I created this site a few months ago because I have so many wonderful stories to tell about my father, Pui Wong, and my father-in-law, Peter Iarussi.  Then thoughts of my grandfathers and great-grandfathers, then I realized our founding fathers, and most of all our Father in Heaven. So, I created this site for stories of our great fathers.

This site is dedicated to our great fathers who have dedicated their lives for their families, sacrificed their times selflessly for the ones they loved. Their stories are to be shared for generations to come. We, and none of us, should ever forget what our fathers have done for us. Their love and their memories are treasures beyond words, beyond all things, beyond time.

Our Pop, Peter Iarussi

Peter Iarussi (Pop) was born in late June of 1913 in a two story frame house on east 187th st. one block west of Jerome ave. in the upper Bronx, New York City.  His parents were Ermando and Lucretia, both immigrated from Abruzzo, Italy six or seven years before. Lucretia was a beautiful friendly and funny girl from the family Mascio who came from the same little mountain town as Ermando, called Rivisondoli in present day Aquila province..
